If you have a collection of items that are vintage, antique, old, or inherently interesting to Park Ridge’s rich history, contact us and we can showcase your collection in a prominent place in our Museum at 41 Prairie. We would like to temporarily borrow collections that are esoteric and interesting, regardless of monetary value or collectible popularity.
The items must be small, lightweight, easy to display/move around and pertaining to history or times gone by. Examples of others’ collections are:
Small dollhouse toys from 1920’s
Vintage travel items from 1950’s
Park Ridge photos/postcards from turn of the century
Baby/toddler items from 1940’s
Vintage telephones from 1900’s
Artwork/prints from Park Ridge’s artists’ colony
We will demonstrate great care with your collection, but obviously the owner will need to sign a waiver of liability as well as paperwork necessary for the loan of a personal collection to the PRHS.
We will display the owner’s name and history of the collection in our newsletter and website.
Know that your collection will be viewed and enjoyed by everyone who visits our Museum!!
For more information, contact Lauren Maloney (PRHS Secretary).

I personally love vintage toys. It’s fun finding the toys you had as a kid, or the ones you always wanted.
